Retake Previously Failed Course

Fulton County Schools offers three summer learning opportunities for high school students who need to retake a previously failed course:

  1. Face-to-Face Summer School (hosted at Innovation Academy)

·         June 2, 2025-June 30, 2025

·         8:00 am-12:20 PM

  1. Fulton Virtual Learning Program

·         June 4, 2025-July 9, 20205

·         How to Register for Fulton Virtual Summer Course

  1. Fulton County Credit Recovery (hosted at Alpharetta High School)

·         June 2, 2025-June 30, 2025

·         8:30 am-12:30 PM

·         To register, please complete the following:

Please print the Credit Recovery Contract (attached), complete and sign it together (student and parent signature required). This will require both student and parent signature. STUDENT: Please ensure you initial all the appropriate areas and rewrite the statements as instructed.

·         Take the contract to your school counselor. Your counselor will need to sign and provide a list of courses that you are eligible to take in credit recovery during the summer.

·         Bring your contract to Mr. Bolin in Suite 1255 for final processing.

·         The summer school counseling team will review submitted contracts and add courses

Summer Dual Enrollment

Engage in summer enrichment by taking advantage of free college courses offered through Georgia's Dual Enrollment program! Students can get ahead and earn both college and high school credit! EOC Assessments

 

·         Algebra I (Semester 2)

·         US History (Semester 2)

·         Biology (Semester 2)

·         American Lit (11th grade Lit (Semester 2

Fulton Virtual: July 8 -July 10

 

Face-to-Face: July 7th –July 10th

 

High School Credit Recovery: July 8 -July 10

 

 

The EOC exam accounts for 20% of the student's grade in the course.

 

If your student needs to participate in the EOC, the test will be held on July 8th - 10th for Fulton Virtual, High School Credit Recovery, and Face-to-Face Summer Learning students, in-person at the Summer Learning sites. All EOC assessments will be administered at face-to-face summer learning sites. No assessments are given online.
