September is Attendance Awareness Month
Attendance Matters! Fulton County Schools and Alpharetta High School have joined efforts to reinforce the importance of attendance in school. This year’s campaign is focused on three areas: Be on time. Be on target. Be on track.
September 9th-13th
- 🎯 BE ON TIME. Beat the Bell, Be in Class! On Time, Every Day! School starts each day at 8:20am. Please make sure you follow your schedule!
September 16th-20th
- 🎯 BE ON TARGET. 95% Attendance Rate = No More than 8 Absences.
- Administration will run attendance reports. The GOAL is 95% of our students maintain satisfactory attendance. Remember, there are 177 school days which means that you should not have more than 8 absences to meet the 95% threshold.
September 26th-30th
- 🎯 BE ON TRACK! Student Achievement - Grade Level Advancement – Graduation
- There you have it! You have made it to this third week of our campaign and now, hopefully you can see the difference it makes in being in class on time every day.
